Justin Anderson
Justin has moved around a lot but the heart of his childhood was spent living alongside the Chesil Beach and Fleet Lagoon SSSI area of the Jurassic Coast UNESCO World Heritage Site in Dorset, UK. Justin developed a strong passion for the great outdoors, wildlife and travel from a very young age. Justins Father was a Radar & Radio communications officer in the Merchant Navy & Exploration Geophysicist based in Africa and the family spent a lot of time in Nigeria, Angola & South Africa. Justin launched his professional Diving career as a Research Assistant gathering data for the Marine Parks Authority on the Mozambique border in Southern Tanzania in 1999, from there he worked as a Marine Park Ranger and Dive Guide on Chumbe & Pemba Islands near Zanzibar. Justin never looked back and spent the following 20 years travelling the globe working as a Dive Guide & Instructor, Dive Centre Operations Manager, Dive Expedition Vessel Cruise Director, Super Yacht Guide, and a UK HSE commercial diver. Justin has extensive diving and travel experience across UK, Europe, Africa and the Middle East, India, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Indonesia, Australia, New Zealand, Solomon Islands, Vanuatu & Fiji. During his 3 years based in the remote Solomon Islands he weathered an 8.3 magnitude earthquake with Tsunami and was invited to take the post of British High Commission Warden for the Western Province in the aftermath. In recent times Justin has been based in Bali, Indonesia with his wife and children and is now currently located in Cambridge, UK. Justin is a very practical outdoors, nature and wildlife loving human being, and one of the few people you will encounter who can boast they have been face to face with wild Saltwater Crocodiles underwater on more than one occasion !!
